Dordt students compete in finale on Fox's Domino Masters

Dordt University will host a public viewing of the season finale of Fox show Domino Masters on Wednesday, May 11 at 7:15 p.m. in the Campus Center. Dordt students Derek and Alex Koops of Sioux Center are competing on Domino Masters as part of team Dominerds. Community members are invited to the event where they can meet Derek and Alex Koops, enjoy some snacks, and participate in a Q&A with the Koops brothers.

Along with teammate Lyle Broughton of Massachusetts, the Dominerds will compete in the finale against teams Brains and Brawn and the Mechanical Mavericks.

With 200,000 YouTube subscribers and over 40,000,000 total video views, DaksDominos – Derek and Alex’s YouTube channel dedicated to professional domino art – is YouTube verified and has earned them a YouTube Silver Creator Award. They have had several videos that have gone viral, including one themed around Dude Perfect, a sports and comedy group, that currently has 9.7 million views.
