The Dordt University men's cross country team closed the 2021 season with a top 10 ranking announced by the NAIA national office earlier today.

The Defenders moved up five spots from the previous poll, up to eighth, in the final edition of the NAIA Coaches' poll released on Nov. 24. This is the highest final ranking in Dordt men's cross country history.

Dordt finished eighth at last weekend's NAIA National Championship, led by Eric Steiger, who placed 34th and earned All-American honors.
