Jessica Kampman earned All-American honors for the 2021 women's cross country season announced by both the NAIA and the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Kampman, a junior from Abbotsford, British Columbia, finished 20th at last weekend's NAIA Cross Country Championships held in Vancouver, Wash. Kampman led the Defenders to an eighth place finish at the championship and was the top finisher among the runners from the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). She is now a two-time All-American, having finished 31st at the 2020 championship last spring.
For the season, Kampman won the individual title in two meets (GPAC Preview, Mount Marty) and posted five top 10 finishes. She was the GPAC runner-up and finished among the top 25 in six of her seven races.
