They finished with a 15-4-2 record, ranked 23rd in the poll and won the GPAC regular season title with a 9-1-1 mark. Maxon returns seven starters, including five all-conference players, from the 2020 squad.

The Defenders are on a two-match skid heading into Saturday's contest against Morningside. Losses to Dakota Wesleyan and Mount Marty have put Dordt into a tie for 10th place in the GPAC with a 1-4 record, 2-8-2 overall.
