National Competition For Defenders This Week

The NAIA National Championship Meet will be held Wednesday-Friday, May 26-28 at Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Several decorated athletes will compete for the Defenders led by Matthew Van Eps in his final competition of a storied career that has included four NAIA National Championships.  A youthful group of men will also get their first taste of national outdoor competition.  Dordt’s distance runners will be compete in the 5,000 and the 3,000 steeplechase.

The women have two relay groups that will challenge for All-American status and will have several athletes who will be in the hunt for top-eight finishes in several events.
