This fall, Dordt University will welcome Jeff Kelly as the new director of the K and K Dooyema Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Kelly will oversee the development and growth of the new entrepreneurship center, helping to provide students and alumni with best business practices rooted in a reformed Christian context.

“Jeff Kelly has a strong background of various business experiences and a professional demeanor that will connect well across academics, business leaders, and students,” says Dr. Brian Hoekstra, chair of the Business Administration Department.

With a background in the restaurant and food service industry, Kelly brings leadership experience in the areas of fiscal planning and analysis, commodity management, vendor contract negotiations, annual marketing plans, and costing and price analysis.

“In addition to being personable and humble, Jeff has a proven track record of project implementation,” says Hoekstra.

Kelly earned his B.A. from Westmar College, and has his master of arts degree from University of South Dakota.
