(Tuesday, March 3; Sioux Center, Iowa) The 2019-20 Academic All-District Women’s Basketball Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom and Dordt’s Erika Feenstra (Junior; Hull, Iowa) has earned the honor for a second straight year.
Feenstra is the leading scorer for the no. 12 rated Dordt Defenders with a 17.6 points per game average with 5.9 rebounds and she is converting 60.4 percent of her field goal attempts. Feenstra was an All-District selection last season and claimed second-team CoSIDA Academic All-American honors as well. Feenstra is studying Health & Human Performance/Exercise Science and has a 3.98 grade point average.
Feenstra will now appear on the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot with those teams announced in mid-March.
