The United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches’ Association (USTFCCCA) has announced its Program of the Year Standings for the recently completed 2018-19 school year.  The Dordt men’s programs combine to be fourth on the list.

The standings take into account the finish at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships; the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships and the Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  Dordt finished a program best 10th at the Cross Country Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and then had finishes of 16th and 12th at the Indoor and Outdoor Championships respectively.  Dordt totaled 38.5 points which combines the finish totals as points.  Dordt was tied for 16th in the indoor competition which accounts for 16.5 points.

Indiana Wesleyan was the Program of the Year with 16 points and Oklahoma City was 19th.

The Dordt cross country program is coached by Nate Wolf while Craig Heynen handles both the indoor and outdoor track programs.
