Three Men's Golfers Earn Academic Honor

(Wednesday, May 29; Sioux Center, Iowa) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced 186 men’s golfer student-athletes have been named 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.  Dordt had three athletes included on the list.

Bennett Harmelink (Senior; Chemistry; Sioux Falls, South Dakota) is a repeat selection after claiming the honor in 2018.  Kyle Colyn (Senior; Agriculture; Ripon, California) and Trenton Ribbens (Junior; Engineering; Boise, Idaho) are both first-time honorees.

In order to be nominated by an institution a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
