Midland is 16-4 overall and 6-0 in the GPAC.
Midland is batting .332 and limiting teams to .186 for a team. The Warriors pitching staff has a team 1.47 earned run average.
Katlin Anders is batting .508 this season with three homeruns and 18 runs batted in and she has 30 hits. Sierra Athow has 22 hits and 13 runs batted in and Bobbi Singleton has a .350 batting average with three homeruns.
Jaylee Hinrichs is 9-2 this season with 112 strikeouts in 64 innings and a 0.87 earned run average. Hailee Fliam is 5-2 this season and has 37 strikeouts in 48 innings.
The Defenders are 12-13 this season and 6-4 in GPAC play splitting a pair of doubleheaders over the weekend in Nebraska.
Rachel Evavold is batting .407 with 24 hits and seven doubles and two homeruns with a .627 slugging percentage. Hailey Heeringa has 22 hits and is batting .286 with six doubles and Marissa Vanden Berg has 22 hits with two homeruns and Carley De Roin and Jessica Oules each have 17 hits. Dordt has a .238 batting average while teams are batting .322 against the Defenders.
Tianna Soodsma is 5-4 with a 2.82 earned run average and she has pitched 72 innings with 39 strikeouts. Natalie Vos is 3-3 with a 2.82 earned run average and she has 27 strikeouts but she is currently out with an injury. Rachel Evavold is 4-2 with 19 strikeouts and 35 innings pitched.

Rachel Evavold (110) and Hailey Heeringa (103) both joined the 100 hit club earlier this week and Marissa Vanden Berg moved into 18th all-time in hits with her 125th hit last week and she is two shy of Mandy Visser and Michal Huizenga with 127.
With her win on Wednesday over Dakota Wesleyan Tianna Soodsma earned her 42nd win and is 3rd all-time to Ruth Draayer (1985-88) in 2nd with 47 and Dawn Van Kley (2000-03) is on top of the list with 60.
Dordt and Mdiland played four times last season. Midland won the April 4 games 2-1 and 3-0 and then the Warriors took a 3-1 and 0-3 pair of wins in post-season play on May 5 to advance to the GPAC Championship Series.
The Defenders will host Morningside on April 12 and the College of Saint Mary on Saturday, April 13.
