Stockwell Commits To Defender Baseball

(Thursday, April 4; Sioux Center, Iowa) Peyton Stockwell,  a senior at Borah High School (Idaho), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the baseball program.

Stockwell played Legion baseball in 2018 for the Boise Senators with a .390 batting average with 23 hits and eight runs scored. His team reached the State American Legion Tournament quarterfinals in 2018.

Peyton is the son of Aaron and Tara Stockwell of Boise, Idaho.  He plans to study Education at Dordt.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
