(Wednesday, January 23; Sioux Center, Iowa) Micah Lambert, a senior at Forest City High School (Iowa) has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the basketball program.
Lambert is averaging 12 points per game for Forest City with 7.3 rebounds and is converting 46 percent of his field goal attempts. He's listed as a 6-4, 205 pound guard/forward. He claimed honorable mention all-conference honors in 2018 and was a part of a conference champion team in 2018 and a 2017 district championship. He also earned honorable mention all-district honors in football this year and claimed academic all-district accolades in both 2017 and 2018. Lambert also was a second-team all-conference pick in baseball last summer and was an honorable mention honoree in 2017.
" We are excited to have Micah be a part of our program. He can really shoot the basketball, and comes from a winning program. He is a quality young man that will enhance our team culture," said Dordt basketball coach Brian Van Haaften.
Micah is the son of Lee and Tammy Lambert of Forest City, Iowa. He plans to study Biology at Dordt.
