Konz To Join Defenders

(Friday, January 11; Sioux Center, Iowa) Lexi Konz, a senior at MOC Floyd Valley High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the dance program.

Lexi has served as MOC Floyd Valley dance captain for one year. 

"I am very excited Lexi has decided to attend Dordt next year. She has a background in both dance and gymnastics and I am looking forward to seeing what she can bring to the team next year. I am looking forward to seeing her on campus next fall," said Dordt dance coach Mel Knobloch.

Lexi is the daughter of Brian and Sheri Konz of Alton, Iowa.  She plans to study Education at Dordt.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
