Dordt def. Creighton 8-1

HOW IT HAPPENED

Dawson Kaemingh finished with a hat trick in Dordt's 8-1 win on Saturday, the tenth win of the season for the Defenders.

The first period opened with a goal from Rylan Brue on Dawson Kaemingh's assist. Less than one minute later, Creighton tied the game when Sam Hingsberger scored. Dordt then answered back with a Jacob Petrie goal, making the score 2-1 after the first.

The Defenders scored three goals in the second period, started by Kyle Espenson's goal with 15:23 in the period. Dawson Kaemingh added two goals in the remainder of the period.

Taking a 5-1 lead into the third, Dordt extended their lead to seven as Kaemingh, Eli Visscher, and Collin Price all scored in the closing minutes.
