Cline stole second base and Chris Schrieber worked for a walk to load the bases and Pullar scored on a passed ball and Steven Tiermsma doubled in two runs for the lead.

Midland got two base  runners on against Dordt reliever Cole Vande Vegte but a third to first double play ended the sixth and Vande Vegte worked an uneventful seventh to end the game after Dordt went scoreless in the seventh.
