The Dordt College men finished 10th in the NAIA National Championship Meet hosted by Mount Mercy at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday, November 16.

The Defenders totaled 375 points and finished 38 points out of 9th and they were in front of Lewis-Clark by 24 points.

Eric Steiger ran 25:24 for a 37th place finish. Colin De Young won the individual title with a time of 24:12. 

Oklahoma City won the team title with 116 points. 

The race was run with winds from 10-15 mph and temperatures in the low 30s.

330 runners competed in the race.

36 teams competed for the title.
